  10. I haven't had to do this for quite some time, but I remember when I used
  11. to be on my Commodore playing games all the time, I would occasionally
  12. come across a game that would not load from the disk. I remember on three
  13. occasions being able to do the following. I would load the game, and after
  14. a while, it would stop loading, in the same spot. Then, sometimes, if I
  15. continually pressed restore and sometimes run/stop + restore, over and
  16. over again, the game would load a little bit further, then I would have
  17. to start over and repeat the same process and eventually it got to the
  18. point where the game would load flawlessly every time. I remember being
  19. able to do this on two games, Ghostbusters (an original vesion that didn't
  20. work from day one) and Karateka (a pirated version that didn't work). The
  21. games would eventually load just fine. Anybody have any idea why this would
  22. work, or have any similar experiences? Is this a common practice? Thanks
